Event Details
For many years, Church Street has assembled food buckets for the children of Ishe Anesu in Zimbabwe. These buckets have been part of the Hands-On Mission effort of the Holston Conference, which also includes food buckets for Liberia. Due to current shipping costs, and the challenges of fees associated with the shipment to Zimbabwe, the Conference has asked all churches to assemble food buckets for Liberia this year.
We will continue to support this Conference ministry by packing 50 food buckets on April 19 at 5:30 pm in the gym. These food buckets will include familiar items like sugar, rice, and dried beans that will help our ministry partners in the Liberia Annual Conference feed local children. In lieu of physical buckets, a $5 donation can be made to provide a virtual Zimbabwe bucket. These donations will allow the purchase and assembly of food bucket items locally in Zimbabwe. Make your donation here!
