Caregiver Support Group

Speaker: Sarah Clay, occupational therapy assistant (and newest member of the Parish Health Ministry Team!)

Topic: “Tips to and Tools Caregivers Should Know for Home Safety”

The first 30 minutes will be devoted to the topic; the remainder of the time will be spent as a support group.

Vicky Shelton and Valerie Nicholson, both medical professionals, have developed a plan for the care receivers of those participating in the support group. This will take place in CLC 123, and is based on models from Adult Daycare, Memory Care, and Senior Adult exercise programs. This will provide the socialization and stimulation which is so important to the health and well-being of your loved one.
