Senior Spotlight: Lucy Cooper

One of our favorite things about the spring semester each year is celebrating our graduating seniors.  Welcome to the Senior Spotlight series for the graduating class of 2025!  Our seniors answered interview questions earlier this semester and it has been so much fun learning their answers!

Meet Lucy Cooper!

What high school are you graduating from?

Central High School

What are your plans for next year?

I plan on studying Nursing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

What is your favorite bible verse?

Psalm 4:8 “In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety.”

If you could choose one meal to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?

FRESH fruit salad

If you could give some advice to your younger self, what would it be?

Don’t take everything so seriously, you are a person, not achievements!

What are your top 3 favorite movies?

I’m not a big movie watcher but I love the Chernobyl documentary!

What is your top book recommendation?

Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

Homecoming services after choir tour

What are you most excited about going into the next season of your life?

I’m excited for new experiences and growing into a more independent and dedicated person.
