The 6 R's of Racial Reconciliation with Rev. Brian Tillman

All are invited to join Church Street UMC on Sunday, November 13 at 4 pm, as we welcome Rev. Brian Tillman to our church home! Rev. Tillman, the Director of Inclusion and Advocacy in the North Georgia Conference, will offer a workshop titled “The 6 R’s of Racial Reconciliation: resistance, recognition, repentance, repair, reconstruction, and restored relationship.” The workshop is free, but please register.

Rev. Tillman has been the coach and mentor for a group of ten church members and Rev. Nance, part of the Racial Reconciling Cohort in partnership with the Western North Carolina Conference. The six-month journey of learning and reflecting inspired our church’s cohort to continue the conversation and invite Rev. Tillman to Church Street!
