SLA

On November 11-13, our Church Street Youth are heading away to the mountains for a weekend of intentional worship, fellowship, study, and prayer. SLA (our annual fall retreat) is one of the highlights of the year for many of us! In the midst of a season that is full to the brim, this retreat is an opportunity to reset. Our prayer for the weekend is that it would be one of restoration, connection, and hope.

SLA stands for Spiritual Life Advance, and we are believing that God will grow our faiths as we spend time with Him away from the pressures of everyday life. We would love for you to partner in prayer with our youth as we prepare our hearts and minds for this time:

• We ask for safety as we travel and health for all of our students, adult volunteers, and leaders.
• We hope this weekend lays the foundation for even deeper connection with one another, offering healing and hope to a generation battling extreme loneliness and anxiety.
• We ask for stamina and rest for us all as we continue through this semester so that we can pursue our faith together.
