Speaker: Kimberly Way and Jerica Potter, Caris Hospice
Topic: Hospice Care: Services provided and what it means
The first 30 minutes will be devoted to the topic; the remainder of the time will be spent as a support group.
Vicky Shelton and Valerie Nicholson, both medical professionals, have developed a plan for the care receivers of those participating in the supportgroup. This will take place in CLC 123, and is based on models from Adult Daycare, Memory Care, and Senior Adult exercise programs. This will provide the socialization and stimulation which is so important to the health and well-being of your loved one.
If you would like to participate or if you have questions, please reply to PHMT@churchstreetumc.org. Also, please indicate if your care receiver will be with you so that Vicky and Valerie know how to plan.
