Support Groups
One definition of support is “to keep (one’s spirit, for example) from failing during times of stress or challenges…or to lend strength.” Church Street has a variety of ongoing and as-needed support group opportunities, and is open to establish more options when needed.
Solo Flight
Solo Flight is a Single Parent Support Group meeting each week for networking and sharing life experiences and challenges related to living as a single parent (with or without custodial care). NOTE: Parent can meet while children and youth take part in their own activities. This group is led by Singles Director, Chuck Jones (521-0298).
W.H.O. Widowed Helping Others
This support group is for persons who have found themselves “suddenly single” by the death of a spouse. Led by Singles Director, Chuck Jones, the focus is to assist the surviving spouse in adjusting to their new role in life and to provide social and emotional support.
Divorce Care Workshop
This 11-week workshop is for persons going through the process of separation and ending of a marriage to assist them through the various stages including grief, anger, financial consideration, children, etc. Cost: $45. Rebuilding Workshop

Grief Care Workshop
